Anxiety, fear, low self-esteem, and depression are issues that often leave people feeling hopeless. These emotional states take a heavy toll on our relationships with our families and our partners. Understanding the body's response to stress is a helpful step in combating anxiety and depression. I help clients to feel more in control of their anxiety by teaching them mindfulness and stress management techniques. Through our work together, you'll learn stress management techniques and build your self esteem so that you can feel more in control of your life. .
I specialize in helping people to increase their self esteem and feelings of self worth. Increased esteem will help eliminate negative thought cycles and increase our positive coping skills. By using mindfulness to increase stress tolerance levels we can work on building communication skills to improve interpersonal relationships.
I use compassion and humor to connect with my clients. Having worked as a yoga/meditation teacher for over 15 years I use Eastern practices in conjunction with Western therapeutic techniques. This has been successful in assisting my clients to use their internal healing systems to increase their optimism and regain control of their lives.
