My intention is to help you feel seen and heard in the ways you prefer, create space to experience choice and possibility in response to life problems, and to nurture hope. I have experience meeting with people of various identities and backgrounds, dealing with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, stress and conflict, school, work, and relationship issues, life changes and transitions, grief and loss, the impact of trauma and abuse, and navigating stressful life experiences and emotions. Many people I meet with are high schoolers, college and graduate students, and young professionals.

I work with couples, adults, families, and adolescents, dealing with issues of anxiety, depression, anger management, parenting, bereavement, and relationship work using the modalities of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family dynamics, communication skills training, and couples counseling.

I have been in the mental health field for over 30 years practicing in a variety of settings. My current interests have evolved after years of working with adolescent females and adult women, followed by years of working with troubled families where I became aware of the prevalence of and impact from various kinds of trauma. Depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relational issues and living with and healing from trauma are areas of my expertise.

I work traditionally and holistically with Preadolescent, Adolescents, Families, Young, and Mature Adults both female and male, LGBTQ and related communities. Their issues are Anxiety including Panic Disorder, OCD, Phobias, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Academic issues, Social issues, Parenting issues, PTSD and grief. I have been working with children and their families for the past 10 years. I specialize in working with children with one or more mental health diagnoses, such as ASD, anxiety, depression, or mood disorders, as well as helping their parents/guardians or family members with how to best care for their child. I aim to work collaboratively with families, schools, and other providers in order to instill change. I work individually with adults, with a varying degree of need, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. I also work individually with parents, working on their own mental health.

I use my education and professional experience in child development, the legal system, psychoanalysis, and mental health to coach you to finding your Best You. ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS - Whether you’re looking to address a recent life transition or hoping to address more chronic mental health concerns, I understand that beginning with a new therapist is a vulnerable, and often challenging, step to take. While I have an eclectic approach to therapy in order to meet the unique needs of each individual client, my approach is always warm, collaborative, laid-back, and client driven. My background includes experience working in a variety of settings, including outpatient, PHP, CBAT, residential programs, and therapeutic schools.

I specialize in gender identity, autism/neurodivergence, and parent coaching. I practice from the IFS model, and integrate Virtual Sand Tray, where appropriate, to create a visual representation of each person's unique system.
