It's hard to be a human sometimes, isn't it? Trauma, stress, anxiety, grief, and pain can overshadow the joy and peace our hearts and minds long for. We may find we are not living the life we truly desire, or we may wonder how we will ever find our way back to ourselves. I'm no stranger to life’s challenges but wholeheartedly believe it is still possible to find hope and healing even in our most difficult seasons. My passion is to companion with clients as they learn new skills, develop resilience, reclaim wholeness, and pursue a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
I use a warm, accepting, collaborative, and strengths-based approach to counseling. I have specialized training in grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, perinatal/infant loss, end-of-life issues, life transitions, and faith-based issues. I am trained in EMDR, CBT and Polyvagal Theory - three strong evidence-based approaches.
I see my work with clients as a calling I commit to stewarding well. Earning your trust as well as creating a safe space for you to process your thoughts, emotions, and experiences are two of my greatest aims.
