I am a licensed clinical psychologist with years of experience providing, supervising, and training others in how to provide evidence-based therapies for a diverse array of clients dealing with mental health and behavioral challenges. I completed my doctoral and post-doctoral training at Drexel University and completed an internship at the Medical University of South Carolina. My training focused on evidence-based treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy among others.
I have specialized training and expertise in the field of eating disorders and weight management (where I have published over 100 peer reviewed articles), but I also have extensive experience treating a wide range of behavioral and emotional problems.
My goal in our work together is to help you build a life worth living by teaching you practical skills that have been shown by research to effectively reduce your concerns and enhance your quality of life. While I strongly believe in the value of evidence-based practices in therapy, I also believe that good therapy must be highly individualized.
