Hi there, I'm Adrienne! I'm a therapist specializing in helping individuals manage the symptoms of anxiety and depression. My goal is to provide support and useful coping skills that will guide individuals to lead a calmer and more fulfilling life. I like to use an integrative approach to helping my clients. When working with individuals, I consider the mind, body, and spirit, which might include nutrition, mindfulness, and movement.
I believe that therapy is a partnership. Having a support system is critical in living a fulfilling life. I plan to work with clients to set goals that are specific and achievable. I provide homework activities that clients can apply to their daily lives.
Effective communication in therapy is very important to me. I plan to strive to build a strong therapeutic alliance with my clients. It's very crucial for client progress & trust. Some of the techniques I use are active listening, empathy & open-ended questions. I encourage clients to express themselves freely. I promote a non-judgmental environment.
