Welcome! My name is Adriane Alexander and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Georgia with over 10 years of experience. I typically work with clients who have a variety of issues. I am comfortable treating clients that are dealing with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, grief, relationship issues, work place stress and women issues. My approach to providing therapy is to make sure that my clients feel safe. I believe that what we need is "already in us." Sometimes we just need a listening ear and support to bring it out of us.
I cannot stress enough how it important it is for clients to feel safe during our sessions. I want clients to feel that they can trust me. I have been told by clients that they appreciate that our sessions are a "judgment-free" zone. I like to use a realistic approach towards setting goals with clients. Goals can always be revisited and changed if necessary.
I have always known that I wanted to work with people. Over the past 10 years, I have worked in various settings, providing mental health and support services to people dealing with a host of concerns.
