About
ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS. Have you experienced a life changing event that has left you struggling to cope with the changes? Do you have a teen struggling through the pandemic or with relationships? Are you a caregiver to someone with critical illness? Have you experienced a recent loss of a loved one—a spouse, sibling, parent, friend? Are you grieving for other types of losses (job, normalcy, etc) Are you a parent, spouse, sibling or grandparent with a loved one with cancer or pediatric cancer? Sometimes life will throw a curve ball at you that leaves you feeling stuck, overwhelmed and isolated.
I wish I wasn’t familiar with this specific need of these areas, much like you wish you didn’t need someone like me. As a trauma informed therapist, we will explore the impact on your life and how to process and incorporate coping strategies that will help you feel validated, help find your “new normal” and help you reconnect with your loved ones.
After losing a sibling and then becoming a parental caregiver to a cancer survivor, I understand more fully the impact of trauma, loss, grief, and the need for a place to process all of it at YOUR pace without feeling minimized in your struggle. Let me help you put down what’s weighing you down. You don’t have to feel alone anymore.
