My ideal client who is someone that not only is ready for counseling, but is ready to do the work that comes along with it. I often share with clients, that the session is the easy work. After you leave session and return back to your daily routine, that is the hard work. However, acknowledging that you are ready for a change and also acknowledging that this is work, I am happy to work with you.
I have provided therapy for different age clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, ADHD and ODD. I'm also currently completing coursework for my sex therapy certification. However, since only being able to offer telehealth in my practice, my focus now is aimed more towards adolescents and adults.
