My name is Adriana Fierro, I am a licensed clinical social worker and have works as a mental health therapist for the last 7 years. I have worked with many different populations and have a background with trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism, PTSD, as well as relationship problems. Experience with both adults and children as well as first responders and military. I take a positive and energetic approach to therapy with a bit of humor sprinkled in. Mostly my clients say they feel comfortable talking with me, gain therapeutic skills, and enjoy coming to our sessions.
I think it is important to have strong therapeutic foundation with coping skills, resilience, boundaries, and communication skills. I like a person-centered approach and meet my client where they are currently at. Then work towards being an improved version of themselves.
I believe that authenticity is crucial in therapy in building rapport as well as in the journey of getting to know ourselves. I am my authentic self which encourages clients to be their authentic themselves.
