As a therapist, my goal is to create a safe space, free of judgment, for every client to be able to express their needs and challenges. I am a compassionate and empathetic person who meets my clients where they are, providing genuine support and active listening. I firmly believe that by embarking on the healing journey together; we can discover the answers you are looking for, which might already be within you, to achieve a happy and peaceful life. I worked in hospice and palliative care for many years and am passionate about helping individuals and families to find meaning after a loss.
I enjoy working with military families, veterans, and active duty. I have experience helping individuals overcome their struggles with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, relationships, family changes, career changes, grief, trauma, and patients struggling with chronic/serious/life-threatening illnesses, among others.
I have a client-centered approach and want to support and challenge you on your journey to healing, self-improvement, and self-empowerment. I use evidence-based practices such as mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, Strength-Based, narrative therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
