I have been studying and working in mental health for 25 years since 1999. Emotional suffering due to relational conflict, anxiety and depression are some of the main reasons people seek therapy. When people engage fully in the therapeutic process, they can often experience moments of transformation that can be profound and or subtle in which their experience of suffering is either alleviated or their attitude towards their situation shifts in meaningful ways. My training and experiences as a clinical psychologist can help you to reduce your pain and how you relate to the difficult experiences or people in your life.
I work with individuals and couples struggling with life changes, depression, anxiety, and marital conflicts. I use IFS (Internal Family Systems) therapy as a powerful tool for addressing patterns and behaviors that are no longer working for a person or a couple. I started working in mental health in 1999.
With my extensive experience working with people in crisis I have witnessed and helped people at the most difficult times in their lives. I have collaborated with people at those difficult times to navigate towards an experience of themselves capable of feeling the full range of sadness, joy, or equanimity.
