I have worked with children & families for over 20 years. Some of the areas I worked were in-home services, therapeutics foster care, crisis nursery, adoption, hospital setting & outpatient psychotherapy in the local mental health facility. I really enjoy helping my clients & I like to see them progress through the issues & symptoms they start off with. I see adults too for life issues, anxiety & loss but I specialize with children. I use play therapy to help client find fun while they are working on hard issues & building skills. I love to think outside the box & help clients move forward.

I have been a pastoral counselor since 1993 and in private practice since 2016. I use a person-centered, spiritually-integrated approach with clients. I am a board-certified chaplain with many years of experience supporting individuals and families dealing with medical crises or losses. I also have extensive experience with clients raising special needs children as well as with the challenges related to adoption. Another area of my experience includes working with clients whose loved ones are dealing with substance abuse and other addictions. My practice also consists of supporting individuals and families impacted by incarceration.

I am a fully licensed professional counselor with 7 years of therapy experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate their personal journeys. I see patients aged 8 and up with mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, mood disorders, OCD, and many others. The treatment of complex histories of trauma, eating disorders, and attachment disruptions must include interventions that rewire the brain from the bottom up, somatic movement to reintegrate the body with the brain, and a felt sense of safety, in the context of relationship. My Child Life training and 30 years of experience, provides me with the knowledge and abilities to work with children, adolescents and their families who are dealing with acute, chronic and terminal illness.
