Hello! I am a Rhode Island and Massachusetts mental health counselor with successful track record of helping older teens and adults living with anxiety, stress, and other mood-related problems. Presenting concerns I am especially experienced in treating are those related to life transitions, identity development, familial problems, systemic oppression, and adoption. Together, we'll explore past and present challenges that affecting functioning and consider how those insights can be used to promote healing and create change.

As a therapist, I practice a holistic approach because I believe all aspects of a client and their experiences are important in providing effective treatment. I have experience working with a wide range of clients of all ages and diagnoses. She utilizes animal assisted interactions with her certified therapy dog, Cyrus Bean. Cyrus provides general comfort in sessions to those who need it, can provide kisses (on command), and overwhelmingly creates a safe and calm presence in the office setting. If you have any allergy to dogs, they may not be a good fit.

Previously, Aliza enriched her expertise working as a Life Coach at Herren Wellness and a Counselor at Gosnold Treatment Center, assisting individuals battling substance use and mental health issues.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with my Masters in Holistic Counseling from Salve Regina University. I have 12 years of providing counseling to individuals, families, and couples. I provide Mindfulness and meditation to assist with being present and meeting you wherever you are in the moment. I possess strong Cognitive Behavior Therapy skills in areas of anxiety, depression, trauma, and other life changing events, through my years of service. I deliver therapy with results that are long lasting and withstanding.
