I use a cognitive behavioral approach to treat disorders related to anxiety, depression, grief, anger, obsessions, and compulsions. I assist individuals with developing the tools and skills necessary to make cognitive and behavioral changes that can open doors of opportunity for change, growth and personal fulfillment.

I provide counseling/therapy to clients of all ages, ranging from preschool children to the elderly. My areas of specialty include: trauma, childhood sexual, emotional and physical abuse, anxiety, depression, parenting, behavioral issues, grief, loss, life transitions and aging. Cognitive behavioral, solution focused, and play / art therapy are a few of the evidence-based techniques used in counseling sessions. Through my experience working in schools, community mental health agencies, foster care and adoption services, the child welfare system and personal care/nursing facilities; I have gained a vast expertise in working with individuals and families.

I provide counseling to individuals from teenagers to the elderly. Hello! I work with my clients using a Cognitive Behavioral, Psychoanalytic, Solution Focused Approach. Solution Focused means we try to solve issues and problems as soon as possible. I am also a trauma specialist and have worked with military and domestic violence victims for many years. Trauma is relative to each individual and shouldn't be compared. And there are ways to heal and thrive! I also work with sexual addiction, childhood behavioral issues, depression and anxiety, chronic pain, career coaching, and all female issues. I also offer premarital and marital counseling.

I have experience as a school social worker and am familiar with IEP's and behavior plans and can help navigate these issues with you.
