It can be confusing and anxiety-provoking choosing a therapist. I have over thirty years' clinical experience. I am pleased to work with individuals, adolescents, and/or families. I have particular experience serving women, youth who are trans/gay/nonbinary, families formed by adoption, and individuals with intersex differences.

I have found it to be so important for my clients to recognize and build upon their own strengths. In our work together we can establish definable goals for treatment and uncover various patterns that developed over time. After obtaining a Master's Degree from Columbia University, I had the opportunity to work in both inpatient, outpatient, and private practice settings. I specialize in working with individuals of all ages who are dealing with anxiety, self-destructive behaviors, or adoption-related concerns.

My therapeutic style focuses on creating a supportive and collaborative relationship with the individual that is affirming and non-judgmental. As part of the Counseling with Joe Zdeb LLC team, our practice focuses on supporting the individual as well as the whole family while providing individualized informed therapy. My approach is to allow the individual to have a better understanding of themselves and to guide them to grow and heal from issues they face.

Our main goal is to provide a warm, inviting, and relaxing environment for our clients to engage in individual, family, couples, and/or group therapy with a professional who is skilled in meeting their clinical needs. We are an out-of-network provider and would be happy to verify benefits prior to starting services. Our office is able to bill out of network directly, so patients are only responsible for coinsurance at the time of service after deductible is met, and any balance outside of what insurance covers.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Infant Mental Health Expert (IMH-E), and EMDR Certified Therapist (EMDRIA) with a bachelor's degree from Muhlenberg College in psychology. I also hold dual master's degrees in clinical psychology from LaSalle University and The New School for Social Research. I'm currently in the final stages of completing my Ph.D. in psychology at Fielding Graduate University. I like to use a variety of therapeutic techniques that focus on empathy and genuineness to make each one of my clients feel supported and heard.

I have enjoyed working with adolescents, adults & families for nearly three decades. While I have maintained a private practice for many years, during my career I've provided therapy & advocacy for high school students in school-based settings. I've had extensive experience with individual, group & family work, as well as with crisis intervention. I'm especially interested in issues of identity development, as I believe that a healthy sense of self is essential for wellness. My name is Stephanie Siciliano; I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Registered Yoga Teacher, and certified in Sand Play and EMDR.
