In my opinion, every individual on this website is my ideal client as you have taken the initiative in looking for help. This is a huge first step not only because it shows insight and awareness but motivation for change. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, older adults, couples, LGBTQ+, and complex family structures.

Hello, my name is Lisa and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California and Nevada. Licensed in both CA and NV, my true passion is helping families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder. I provide Tele-health services which allows for some greater flexibility in that you don't have to drive to another appointment in your already busy day. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Nevada since 2004, and I have a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and am a Licensed Psychologist in Nevada. I primarily provide Cognitive, Diagnostic, Psychological and Psychoeducational testing to children and adults. I also provide individual therapy only on a cash pay basis, or through straight FFS Medicaid, when my schedule allows.

My practice supports authentic living. I hope to join with persons and offer my understanding of where they are. Such genuine contact encourages awareness of possibilities that otherwise remain just out of reach. Relationship is central; foundations of healthy relationships include trust, respect, honesty and risk-taking. Persons I sit with commonly say I am supportive and challenging, non-judgmental and honest. Persons with previous therapy experience say that our play together is "different" than their other therapy relationships, perhaps because I fundamentally believe persons are good and have inherent power to grow and change.

I am particularly interested in clients that are open to cultivating the garden of their life. Our life can represent a garden; in any garden there are beautiful flowers and unfortunately there are thorns and thistles. My client must be willing to smell the aroma of the flowers as we travel through the thorns and thistles of the garden life also.
