I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which is an extensively researched and proven treatment of varying levels of trauma. I have experienced very good outcomes with EMDR treating a variety of client issues including PTSD, car accidents, specific phobias, fears and other disturbing events.
One of the most important elements of therapy is that you feel the therapist is a good "fit" for you and that you feel comfortable talking with him or her. The first session is a great opportunity to meet and determine if I will be a good fit for you.
