My areas of interest are working with individuals and families affected by anxiety, depression, blended homes, ADHD and transitions. I work with individuals and families of all ages. Through working together as a team we will help develop the tools that can create change in a person or families life. Each person has unique strengths to build on and together we will identify those strengths and build on those.

I have extensive experience working with clients in the LGBTQIA+ community including writing letters for HRT and gender confirmation surgeries, foster care and adoption cases, agency and court involvement, military service members, self-harm and suicidality, teenage behavioral issues, depression and anxiety, and domestic violence.

Do you have a challenge in your life you'd like to work through with a professional? I see individuals, families, and couples through insurance and private pay, with scheduling often available in the same week. I am able to see adult clients in-person or via telehealth, depending on the client’s needs and abilities.

In my practice, I am dedicated to working with a variety of individuals from differing backgrounds who are committed to their personal growth and well-being. My main clinical interests are in issues related to trauma, life transitions, adoption, and religiosity and spirituality. My ideal clients want to live more fulfilling and meaningful lives, and are motivated towards growth in there emotional, behavioral, and cognitive patterns.

My therapeutic approach is to work with my Clients to help them develop the skills that will help them throughout their lives. I have worked with a wide range of Clients and their presenting issues and am currently offering therapeutic services for Individuals, Couples, Veterans, Groups and Families. I work with ages 6 and up and enjoy helping my Clients learn new techniques and skills to help them work towards improvement and establishing a better way of life.

I have extensive experience working with women and matters that are unique to women. My clients have often dealt with depression, anxiety, infertility, infidelity, miscarriage, post-partum, and adoption. They often find themselves in the midst of relationship problems, life-stressors, anxiety, or grief. Others have come to recognize that past trauma (childhood or other) is affecting their current relationships and personal outlook on life. Women desiring to heal and grow find themselves very comfortable with my relaxed, non-judgmental and compassionate attitude.

I'm a therapist committed to providing quality, focused therapy to those struggling with the hard realities that life sometimes sends our way. I am passionate about helping individuals and couples build the relationships and lives they desire. We each enter our relationships with hurts and blind spots that keep us from connecting as we would like. Trauma is often the source of our hurt, even if it is many minor traumas. When these traumas are not dealt with, they can lead us to experience anxiety and depression. We must learn the tools to help us heal these root issues. Once we learn the tools, we must practice using them in a safe environment and apply them to other relationships.

I am a Licensed Masters Level Social Worker, Brainspotting Practitioner and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional focusing on child behavior disorders. I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the Kansas Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers. I thoroughly enjoy working with individuals of all ages. My practice openly accepts clients of all backgrounds, sexual orientations, religions, ages, and cultures.

This lends itself to unhealthy patterns of avoidance, hypervigilance/hyperarousal, disturbance in mood and cognitions. and being inundated with intrusions and flashbacks.
