Are you tired of feeling like you are on a roller coaster with your emotions? Do family and friends say "you're too much"? Therapy is the place to help sort out your feelings and learn skills to help with the roller coaster. Most everyone goes through hard times at some point and having someone there with you during those times is important. Although I cannot make it easy, I can sit with you, so you are not doing this work alone. I am passionate about helping adolescents (15 years and older) and adults work through their hard things and help get back from feeling like you are "too much".
In conjunction with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I utilize tools from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as other therapy modalities to provide an individualized treatment plan that works best for you.
The most common thing I hear from clients is frustration due to a lack of response from therapists. While I find this frustrating as well, I can tell you that while I might not always be able to get someone into my office I will return the call/email so you feel heard.
