Everyone wants a space where they can be real and vulnerable. I create such a space where there is room for laughter, swearing, tears, and whatever else you carry with you. It all belongs here. I want to be here for you, no matter where you are. I believe the most powerful therapeutic modality is the relationship between clinician and client and I will strive to make sure that our relationship is genuine, authentic and honest.
I do not tie myself to only one modality in all situations. I believe that therapy should have some fluidity within the safe boundaries of the therapeutic relationship. I want to get to know you, the individual and then we can figure out what works best.
I will never ask you to minimize your struggle or look on the bright side of things. Sometimes hard things are hard no matter how you package it. However, sometimes with a few shifts, new insights can make us look at the hard things in a different light. I want to be a helper in your story, no matter what chapter you invited me into.
