I am a pre licensed clinician with 25 + years experience. I am a private practitioner who works with children, adolescents, adults and families. I have worked with those involved with the department of Child Services from CHINS thru adoption, Indiana courts and individual attorneys. I have extensive training in play based techniques, Dialectical Behavior therapies, cognitive based therapy techniques and focus heavily on trauma recovery, attachment and self regulation techniques. I believe in a client centered approach and focus on the needs of the individual/family and adapt a therapy model based on that need.

I have been involved in therapy for almost twenty years working in areas of criminal justice, social services, mental health, welfare and addiction treatment. I have enjoyed working with all age clients-each having different challenges. Although I enjoy working with all clients, areas of specialization: Adolescent behavioral issues, gambling and addictive behaviors, family and marriage counseling. I encourge clients to work on two main objectives: Self Empowerment and Acceptance of who they choose to be. I do not judge a person because of their concerns, I try to help them learn the tools to avoid future problems.

I previously spent 15 years in the child welfare field working with families, children, and adolescents both in and out of the home and have run court-ordered substance abuse groups. I now own my own practice, which is a culmination of all my previous experiences. At Thrive Therapy I take a holistic and integrated approach, treating each client as an individual with unique needs. Every session is tailored according to the client's current situation.

Stan Antonelli III is a Licensed and Academy Certified Psychotherapist and Clinical Addiction Specialist. Stan specializes in the treatment of co-occurring disorders, anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. He has extensive experience treating incarcerated adult offenders as well as those struggling with anger management issues. Stan has advanced training in CBT, TF-CBT, Adoption-Competent Therapy, and the Minnesota Model of Addiction. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Indiana University and Andrews University in psychology, sociology, and clinical social work. He is a PsyD (Doctor of Psychology) candidate.

My clients are typically adoptees and/or their adoptive or birth families. I also see women who are struggling with burnout. Adoption is a life-long process that can create many challenges for adoptees. I “get it” on a level most therapists can’t because as an adoptee myself, I’ve also experienced those losses and the questions that come with them. I am in reunion and have been since I was 18. This has been a largely positive experience but has had emotional ups and downs through the years.

I have been fortunate enough to obtain several years of experience in working with both children and adults. A client who desires to accept partnership and engage in being open to change is the most ideal client. I prefer to work with adults and older adolescents struggling with addictions, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and trauma. I have a vast amount of experience working in the field of trauma. Due to my experience working in community mental health, I also work well with those with intense mental health and substance abuse treatment needs. I have worked both inpatient and outpatient experiences, resulting in my flexibility to help stabilize in a crisis and to work with individuals at any level.

Bonnie has served in community health for 4.5 years and has experience working with families, women, men, adolescents, and children. Her expertise is working with adolescents and emerging adults struggling with trauma, decision making, life issues, and behavioral issues. She enjoys assisting parents in finding helpful methods to parent their children.

I graduated with a Bachelors from Indiana University Northwest and received my masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University. I have over 20 years experience working in mental health. I have a specialization in children and adolescents.
