I practice client-centered, psychodynamic therapy with individuals, couples, and groups to address symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood disorders, relationship dysfunction, and/or addiction. I employ integrative, strengths-based approaches to assist individuals in coping with current manifestations, and exploring and resolving issues which may have evolved circumstantially, temporarily presenting a barrier to an otherwise strong sense of overall well-being. Clients develop self-awareness, personal boundaries, and responsibility for one's own future. Support for individual growth, and positive living, in a collaborative setting, utilizing motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, rational emotive behavior therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, pyschoeducational resources, and psychoanalytic methodology.
As a clinician and educator, I support mental wellness and life-long learning as a means of facilitating the process of change.
