At Farrington Specialty Centers, we believe that anyone battling with an eating disorder has the potential for full recovery and true freedom! Our programs have been designed by practitioners who themselves have recovered from an eating disorder and understand personally the devastating effects of eating disorders. We specialize in all types of Eating Disorders, Compulsive Exercise, and Body Image concerns. Our services include outpatient, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization programs. Our IOP, virtual IOP, and PHP programs are in network with Anthem BCBS. We work with all commercial insurances for IOP and PHP.

Farrington Specialty Centers are devoted to the treatment of eating disorders, compulsive exercise, and body image issues as well as co-occurring disorders including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational concerns. We provide specialized care for athletes and dancers with disordered eating and body image concerns.

Eating disorder Intensive Outpatient

Farrington Specialty Centers offers an 8-week Eating Disorder Specific Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Group sessions include nutrition counseling, daily snacks, snack and meal challenge outings, daily therapy groups utilizing many topics and techniques, including experiential, that will be tailored to meet the needs of the group. IOP also consists of a Family Day, which will include education on eating disorders and an opportunity for clients and loved ones to communicate in a safe, objective environment. Individuals who are appropriate for the program are any male or female 14 years and older who display signs of an eating disorder and body image disturbances.

Family/Loved Ones Support Group

Our free family and loved ones support group is open to the public for all families, loved ones, and friends of individuals battling eating disorders. This bimonthly group is clinician and family led. This group meet the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 6:00 PM. As a result of Covid, this group is being conducted virtually.
