I specialize in conducting psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. All evaluations focus on the development of individuals with an emphasis on change and growth. Psychological assessment, clinical interviewing, and a thorough review of collateral information are utilized to provide a comprehensive summary, accurate diagnosis, and relevant recommendations to address the many diverse concerns experienced by different individuals.
Evaluations offered include ADHD, Autism, Career, Child Behavioral/Emotional, Cognitive, Parenting, Personality, Psycho-educational, and Substance Abuse. As needed, I work with professionals in the fields of education, law, and healthcare in a cooperative relationship to provide consultation to facilitate and support the well being of clients.
Treatment is based upon a combination of behavioral and cognitive principles directed toward solving current problems and modifying dysfunctional thinking and behavior. This cognitive behavioral approach is problem focused and action oriented. It is effective for children, adolescents, adults, and mature adults and is used within a wide variety of settings.
