I am an LCSW with 27 years of clinical experience. I have worked extensively with children, adolescents and adults whose difficulties have covered the full range of behavioral, emotional and mental health issues. Boys and girls with separation issues for example, school difficulties, sleep disorders, anxiety, defiant behaviors, etc., have been successfully treated, as well as defiant out-of-control adolescents and adults with mood and/or anxiety disorders,impulse-control problems, adjustment disorders, etc. In addition, my clients have come from all ethnic backgrounds and economic levels, and include both men and women.
The presenting problems/symptoms are understood as manifestations of a deeper underlying problem. The focus of treatment therefore, is not simply to remove the symptom, but to also remove/heal what is causing it. In this way, the symptom removal/reduction is solid and can be maintained by the client.
I am very experienced, adept at treating all kinds people and the full gamut of difficulties both young children as well as adolescents and adults struggle with.
