I have been a practicing therapist for over 25 years with extensive experience in treating individuals and couples in short and long term therapy. I have treated with great success patients suffering trauma, emotional and sexual abuse including domestic violence; adjustment, mood and anxiety disorders and problems in relationships with attention to environmental, cultural and psychic factors. My approach is eclectic designed to meet the desires and needs of my patients.
I have experience in treating a wide range of pathologies and issues. I have volunteered at and am a consultant to a domestic violece center.I have supervised students and have been a guest speaker at seminars and mental health facilities relating to issues of treatment and diversity.
I have a varied and rich background experientially and academically with studies in India, Holland and graduate studies in sociology and clinical work in the U.S. In my therapeutic work this allows for a wide ranging perspective and depth of understanding.
