I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social worker who has provided clinical care for over 21 years. My work focuses primarily in the areas of attachment and trauma with much experience in the areas of adoption, foster care, grief, loss, victimization issues, anxiety related disorders, parenting, and attachment and trauma related disorders with an emphasis on treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

The client that Kathleen works well with is youth (age 7 - teens) with trauma, divorce of parents, placement in foster care, adoption, or residential care, or who are involved in (or at risk) the juvenile justice system. Kathleen enjoys working with a variety of brain health (mental health) issues - depression, bipolar, PTSD, ADHD, ODD, anxiety, traumatic brain injury, and schizophrenia. Kathleen's focus is youth & family, but she also works with young adults transitioning out of foster care, & women wanting EMDR. Kathleen is trained in Amen Clinic's method, & provides evidence based tools to change your brain and change your life.

I have many years of experience working with women, children and families through being a special needs preschool teacher, children's mental health treatment manager, adoption program coordinator, and public speaker. I received my master's degree in marriage and family therapy in 2009. Through my counseling practice I endeavor to help you establish a strong, healthy outlook on life whereby you can develop to your full potential. My primary theoretical approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and animal assisted therapy. However I also utilize theories such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Adlerian Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, the use of books, Art Therapy, sand Tray Therapy, Play therapy and attachment therapy. I have a passion for working with children & adolescents, those who have experienced trauma, minority cultures in the U.S., and anyone who may feel alienated in their community. I am an Attachment based therapist well versed with severe levels of trauma, anxiety and depression due to family systems, addiction, adoption or other struggles. I have over 20 years experience as a dancer and dance studio owner from which I draw upon for a creative, integrative approach in therapy and fresh approach to understanding my clients. I am also fortunate enough to work collaborately with another therapist and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to provide wraparound services for clients all in our beautiful office space. I believe in exploring all avenues and taking innovative approaches in therapy to aid the client in healing and personal growth.

Elena is experienced working with individuals on the Autism spectrum, and has a passion for transition youth at risk. With strength-based interventions she hopes to empower her clients to their fullest potential; adding in play therapy, somatic approaches to foster an engaging and accepting therapeutic environment. With the four languages she speaks, she hopes to continue to bring access to counseling services to various communities in need by proving Telehealth to clients living in rural areas.

Willow Creek Counseling provides therapy to patients seeking to recover from trauma, grief, addiction, or needing services as a couple. I am a Level 2 Gottman Institute-trained therapist and provide couples intensives from this framework. I am an EMDR Consultant and offer EMDR intensives for patients seeking EMDR. Intensives are an alternative to the weekly model of therapy. Both types of intensives are offered in an 8 or 14-hour program. Each program offers personalized treatment plans that allow you to skip the waitlist by giving you faster access to select spots and are designed to support your preferred schedule and time.
