I enjoy working with adults and older teens (16+) on issues related to understanding yourself, why you might feel the way you do, and what to do about it. Other areas of interest include helping clients navigate relationships, build healthy communication skills, understand their strengths, and to examine the role our environment as a child can show up in our current lives. I consider myself a process-oriented therapist; meaning I am always looking for themes and patterns in our sessions that might give us insight into what could be helpful to focus on in our time together.
My strength as a therapist is in building strong relationships with my clients. Clients typically describe me as easy to connect with and share things they haven't been able to before. I genuinely care for the people I work with. Laughter and humor are part of my therapy style, along with helping people feel seen and understood.
Whether you've been in therapy before or are willing to try it for the first time, my priority is to help you feel comfortable. I currently have some daytime availability on Wednesday and Thursday. I am located near Downtown.
