I see primarily adolescents and adults to help work through most things life throws our way. I use a combination of evidence based treatments, compassion and humor to help find your best self. I have been in the field for over 15 years across various settings working with people who have experienced trauma, mood disorders, foster care/adoption concerns and general life stress.

I have over 20 years of experience as a counselor. I do my best to develop a warm, safe environment for you to explore and grow. I work with all ages to expand internal resources, heal from past negative experience and explore new directions. I feel it is an honor to with clients, connecting the pieces of each person's unique experiencial puzzle and exploring ways to have more freedom to form the future.

I believe everyone has a story to tell and sometimes the beginning to the healing path is sharing that story. I have seen and helped people change directions from an undesired life path to one of true healing and personal success. My goal is to help each person be the best version of themselves that has always been inside, but was unable to flourish. My name is Christy Meyer. I have been a therapist for 22 years but my best experience in life is my experience as a mother.
