We know how hard finding the right therapist can be, so we strive to make the process as simple, intuitive, and holistic. What is holistic psychotherapy? At West Side Psychotherapy we approach anxiety and depression as symptoms of a dysregulated nervous system. We consider your body (medical/physical), your mind (emotions and thoughts) and your spirit. We work using an eclectic approach to treatment; we appreciate that each client is unique and has different problems, strengths, needs and goals. We strive to develop a deep understanding of the client's experience and meet each individual where they are.
Kate Lamborn, LCSW graduated from NYU and completed her clinical internship at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell. She received post graduate training at NYU specializing in the treatment of adolescents and families, addiction counselor's training at TARP, Inc (NY) and The Metropolitan Institute for Training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
We strive to develop a deep understanding of the client's experience, meeting each individual with compassion and empathy. We offer a warm, safe space where we can identify issues of conflict and remove the stumbling blocks that are interfering with personal growth and happiness.
