I specialize in working with females, 12 and older. I have experience helping with anxiety, depression, autism (social/life skills), betrayal trauma, divorce, grief/ loss, body image issues, resolving adolescent behavioral concerns, and building low self-esteem. I also enjoy counseling with parents as they navigate the challenging task of parenting through the teen years. I have experience working through faith transitions as well. I offer after-school and Saturday morning appointments to accommodate working women and student schedules.
My approach to therapy is person-centered and solution-oriented. I celebrate with my clients each time they meet a personal goal, conquer a fear, develop a helpful insight, or better learn to manage the ups and downs of life. My goal is to help the people I work with reach their fullest potential with empirically supported principles.
