Decreased anxiety and improved mood are essential to unlocking these possibilities. You can develop tools for resolving present issues and ongoing struggles. I am an experienced therapist who works with a wide range of presenting issues including anxiety, depression, situational stress, and issues that arise with life changes and challenges. I provide a warm, safe setting for expression of your concerns. I work in a collaborative format toward understanding self, moving through issues, and working toward goals.
With individuals I use methods that draw from psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral orientations. Both immediate coping needs and the longer term goal of understanding oneself are addressed. I am a participating provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield and Medicare. I would be glad to talk to you about your insurance.
In regard to my present response to COVID: I am back in the office, am fully vaccinated and have equipped my office with an air purifier. Being in the office gives you a time and place for our meetings that is apart from the rest of life in order to fully focus on yourself and your concerns.
