Life in general can be very challenging. Struggles with relationships, life stressors, fear, and self-judgment of not being ‘good enough’ can be difficult to navigate and sometimes we feel as if we can barely keep our heads above water. I know this personally as I’ve felt I was drowning at times myself. But there is a way out. Therapy provides a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts and feelings to better understand and find solutions to life’s challenges. My goal as a therapist is to help you feel safe, supported, and seen. Thus, opening the door for you to deeper self-exploration and growth.
Therapy is not a “one size fits all.” I use an eclectic approach of Humanistic, Existential, Psychodynamic, Interpersonal, and Neurobiological framing. This means that I see you as a human having a very human experience; that we are all affected by our childhood; and that our brains and nervous system developed in ways to protect us before we could talk.
My clients say that I am genuine, warm, accepting, playful, and confronting (in a good way!). I truly care about each of my clients and the concerns they bring to therapy. I provide a safe environment in which to explore the things that you feel aren’t working or that are keeping you repeating patterns that you’re tired of.
