I work with a variety of clients, and have particular training in the realm of sexuality. I especially love working with men who want to discover how to be deeply alive and authentically good in this modern world. People who have been to counselors before tell me they’re relieved to find someone who actually listens to them instead of offering stock answers. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach; instead, I believe that rich, authentic conversations lead to discovery and transformation. I bring to the table 18 years of experience as a counselor and—more importantly—45+ years of experience as a human seeking wisdom and wrestling to live deeply: I have suffered and thrived; failed and succeeded. My cabin office is in a private wooded setting that allows your relationship with the natural world to be an ingredient in your transformation.
I am honored any time a person invites me to walk alongside of them in the midst of their story. I know first hand the tremendous courage it takes to embark on the journey of therapy (especially with regard to vulnerable issues like sexuality).
