As a psychotherapist I view my role as a consultant, not unlike other professional consultants. Utilizing clients' inherent life skills and developing new skills, I assist them in finding ways to work through barriers to growth. I see my job as a listener, teacher and a coach, because to make a change, even for the better, takes courage. Over the years I have develop various proven modalities in which to help clients manage anxiety, anger and stress-related disorders. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy as well as neuropsychological approaches that are scientifically researched.
I have conducted Anger Management Classes for over 20 years and have developed simple strategies for dealing with anger that have proven to be highly effective. While I no longer offer classes, I do provide individual therapy for clients who need help managing their anger.
My clients have included individuals, corporate clients, professionals and senior leadership staff, as well as emergency personnel; firefighters and police.
