Hello, I specialize in grief counseling- processing it, holding it and understanding your unique experience and how you can grow/live with it. I myself experienced a traumatic death at 13 years old and have walked beside folks since. I focus on helping understand how you grieve as an individual, and what you may need to hold space for your grief. I also specialize in working with young people. Supporting them in seeing, strengthening and engaging with their best self. I was a school counselor for 10 years and very much enjoy working with families while building internal and external relationships with love and accountability.
I do take some insurances and there may be a chance to do a "super bill" to submit to other insurances. I am able to physically meet clients wherever they feel best- including online. I do have a home office- including a shaded back patio but have met clients in park, their home, the library, coffee shop or again- wherever you feel best.
I work to continually learn from and listen to my fellow humans, mentors and friends in efforts to be culturally responsive and aware. My ethnicity is Arab American, I work with clients from all cultural and spiritual backgrounds and consider myself an LGBTQ+ ally.
