Feeling lost, alone, maybe intimidated by the changes that this time of uncertainty can bring? Transitions in life can leave us questioning our identities and self concept. I have a specialized focus working with those experiencing the adjustment of family planning, pregnancy, parenthood and loss, each can be isolating bringing about identity shifts, confusion and the mourning of what once was with the adjustment to the new norm. These transitions can also cause stress and strain in our interpersonal relationships.
I am a Clinically Licensed Master level Social Worker. I obtained specialized training in maternal mental health from Postpartum Support International. With this specialized training I have acquired a skillset that emphasizes the application of cognitive and psychodynamic interventions to pre-conception, prenatal, postnatal, and interpersonal transitions.
I work to guide you in exploring your experience of change, loss and uncertainty together with it’s influence on your current life process. I work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary holistic driven team at Natures Playhouse, where we promote strengthening interpersonal relationships and maternal health and well-being.
