I provide counseling with individuals (of all ages), couples & families with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, grief, stress management & relationship issues. I want to help you be able to take the skills you learn, your healed parts & the strength that you find within yourself & use them in all areas of your life.
Therapy focuses on identifying individual or family goals and strengthening self-awareness to change behavior patterns to meet the goals set. Counseling will focus on helping you gain an understanding of your thought and behavior processes. This assists in identifying how thoughts impact behavior and to be able to change.
I believe that the counseling process is a combination of efforts between the individual and therapist. I play an active role in the therapeutic process through dialoguing with clients to provoke deeper understanding of the Self and insight into ones issues and resolution.
