I work with a clients ages teen to adult. I strive to help heal the whole person and integrate different approaches to best fit each one of my clients. I incorporate Person-Centered, Psychodrama, emotion focused family therapy and cognitive behavioral therapies in my sessions. I have experience working with groups and individuals with substance abuse and mental health challenges. I view the therapeutic alliance between client and clinician as the most important aspect of therapy. I believe in working together with my clients to achieve their stated goals by fully caring for and supporting each client without judgment.

My experience is extensive in the areas of mood, emotional regulation, trauma, ADHD/ASD/, executive functioning, addictions, co-dependency, and adolescent challenges. I address mind, body, family systems, vocation, academics, hobbies and spirituality simultaneously. A Christian perspective can be integrated upon request. I am client-centered and develop a series of interventions that are challenging without being shaming. As a parent, there's nothing worse than watching your child struggle. Standing by and watching their grades fall and their anxiety rise is excruciating, but nothing you've tried is making the situation better. Your child doesn't seem to know what's due or when, they are unorganized, have no plan for studying, lack effective study habits and skills, and have trouble disengaging from their phones. Communication is breaking down between you and your child and they seem unmotivated and apathetic toward school. Here for the "I DON'T KNOW's." So many patients & their families come into my office and say, "I just don't know what's going on with me/my loved one." And for me, that's a great place to start! It's my job, using assessments and up-to-date testing equipment to answer that question. I feel that it is difficult to know HOW to treat something if you don't know WHAT you are treating. Mental Health diagnoses often overlap and are confusing. Testing and therapy helps answer the "I don't know's". I do ALL of my own testing to limit errors and provide extremely comprehensive services for you and your loved ones.
