I take an active and collaborative role in therapy, and utilize strong skills in communication to establish your individual needs and to prepare and deliver appropriate treatment and therapy plans accordingly. I draw from many therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused.
I have worked with various client concerns including interpersonal relationships, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, anger, stress, parent/ teen conflict, and divorce. I am trained and have experience in working with women and children who are victims of domestic violence.
For the past 14 years, I have worked closely with administration and academic counselors in multiple school districts throughout San Luis Obispo County to provide counseling to at-risk teens and their families.
