I have additional certification in Multidimensional Family Therapy. This is a evidence based treatment that is proven successful in helping treat adolescents with substance abuse, crime, violence, anxiety, and depressions. Individual and family sessions are utilized to help the adolescent develop problem solving skills.
Often the adolescent population struggles with connection with adults and especially adult therapists. I enjoy working with the adolescent population and have an ability to develop a connection that helps propel therapy toward success. It is alway important to develop a mutual respect and working relationship that is supportive and open.
