Andee has over a decade of experience in the counseling field working with individual adults, adolescents, and families. Andee's goal is to provide you with goal-oriented, confidential therapy in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. Her specialties include dealing with anxiety related issues, depression, mood disorders, ADHD symptoms, communication skills, as well as child/adolescent behavioral disorders. Andee is also trained in EMDR techniques to assist clients who are struggling with Post traumatic stress disorder.

Nikole is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a credentialed clinician with NBCC. She has a passion and heart for mental and behavioral health. It is her desire to be able to provide a safe environment for her clients and families by helping them feel empowered through the therapeutic process. Nikole assists her clients' by teaching and providing tools and focusing on relational & client centered approaches. In doing so, her hope for her clients is that they will have a progressive successful, healthy, and whole self. Hello and welcome to the beginning of your journey to better self-awareness, growth, and understanding! I help clients learn skills to shift their thinking and find more enjoyment in life. My approach to counseling is straightforward, realistic, and supportive, with a touch of humor, in a nonjudgmental environment. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) to address underlying trauma and triggers that prevent a person from reaching their potential.

Whether you have been dealing with an issue for years or if it is something that has recently surfaced, counseling can be beneficial in addressing the problem. Counseling provides a non-judgmental environment with encouragement to explore the source of the presenting problem and work towards a greater well-being. I enjoy working with adolescent teens through middle-aged individuals and couples on a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, anger management, relationship issues, mood disorders, coping skills, and self-esteem.

I am a doctoral level trained clinical psychologist with a PsyD in counseling and am an LAC. I have extensive experience working with diverse adolescent and adult populations. I have training and expertise in EMDR, CBT, and DBT. I have worked in community mental health, inpatient, adolescent forensic, and private practice settings and have extensive training in diagnostic and clinical assessments. My education, training, and clinical practices have highlighted multicultural and diversity issues, and I continue to practice in consideration of cultural issues/needs when evaluating, assessing, and providing services to clients.

My ideal client is someone struggling with relationship issues, whether it’s a teenager, middle school person, or adult. Some examples are parents are going through a divorce, a teenager needing help with school or family interpersonal issues, family or friend relationship problems, and general anxiety or depression.

I love working with people who are on the fence! Whether it be related to a relationship, a career change, having a child, exploring identity, diving into trauma, changing a habit, stopping a substance or any other change in life. My favorite word in therapy is ambivalence: having mixed feelings! Sometimes it is wanting one thing and also wanting the other. Learning to navigate mixed emotions is a key piece of growth in therapy. I work in private practice virtually part time, and my full time position is at Nexus Teen Academy.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I have offices in Peoria, Avondale, and Scottsdale Arizona. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma. I have 18 years of experience in the social service field and have been a Clinical Director for several programs in the valley, but enjoy providing therapy to individuals and families the most.
