I am a person-centered therapist who completely accepts where you are without judgment and where you'd like to be. My role is to empower you as you move forward in life. My focus areas are mood disorders, trauma (all kinds of trauma) and LGBTQ. I primarily work with young adults and adults - anyone over 18! Alyssa earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC). After years as an educator and adolescent life coach, Alyssa pursued an education in therapeutic disciplines where she witnessed the vast needs of young people, families, and couples alike who were navigating relationships, trauma, mental health challenges, behavioral concerns, loss and change. Alyssa takes a holistic approach with her clients, specializing in adult and adolescent therapy, couples and families, and uses a client-centered approach informed by Internal Family Systems, and Adlerian Theory.

Each client's psychological and spiritual needs are a focus addressing relational issues, behavioral issues, and mood-driven difficulties with consideration of individually-specified treatment goals.
