We are a small private practice, established to grow a brand based on transparency in therapy, clinicians who are passionate about their jobs and ongoing interpersonal and professional growth. Our clinicians are trained to treat all mental health diagnoses. It takes strength to acknowledge when something is wrong. Through looking for a counselor, you have displayed this. I can imagine by now you might be feeling overwhelmed or distressed by what's recently occurred or what's built up over time. You may be looking to build on your coping skills or enhance your way of thinking about life. Or, maybe you just want someone to talk to about your everyday obstacles. For whatever life brings you, I am here to offer you support and guidance. Some of my clinical areas of focus include, but are not limited to: depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related disorders.

My desire is to help and inspire, make a difference, and use evidence-based mental health practices to witness growth and progress in everyone, while integrating and tailoring modalities for you. With a strong ethical and moral foundation, I work within my boundaries to provide the utmost care to those I serve. I have an innate ability to connect with others and welcome you to a comfortable, warm, and non-judgmental environment. My goal is to provide you with the necessary tools to make the hard work a little easier. It may not always be easy, but you will have a partner.

Sometimes we are molded to fit into a role or to fulfill someone else’s needs. It is this sense of losing ourselves that can lead to the challenges of anxiety, depression, emotional distress, and numerous other mental health concerns. As a result, I believe counseling is an essential part of life – a journey to finding the authentic self.

I have served those with Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, Family Issues, etc. My ideal client is motivated to roll up their sleeves and engage in the therapeutic process. They have an open mind and can practice effective coping skills to improve their overall functioning and quality of life. They can challenge themselves to be vulnerable and practice accountability while processing their problematic thinking patterns and behaviors in a safe and non-judgmental environment. They wish to engage in therapy because they realize that they need to make a change and are willing to take a leap of faith to make it happen.

We believe that counseling is an opportunity to talk with someone you can connect with in a safe environment without fear of judgment. There are a variety of issues that people face on a daily basis. Sometimes those life issues can become too burdensome to deal with on your own. This is where we come in. We work with clients who are dealing with: Depression, Anxiety, Child issues, Mood Disorders, Marriage/Family, Pre-Marital Counseling, Self-Esteem, Trauma, Divorce, Grief, Job and School Stressors. I find it a privilege to be able to walk alongside those who are seeking out assistance in their journey.

Life can be difficult. Work, relationships, school, and the various other demands can cause someone to feel overwhelmed, frustrated, or depressed. Add to these common demands the influences of ADHD, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other forms of mental illness and navigating through life can feel impossible. I provide a comfortable, client-centered environment for exploration and processing in order to make life more manageable.

My role is to walk beside my clients as they find their own solutions. I bring a background from journalism, theater, film, event production, dj, and comedy writing to my practice. Clients can expect to be heard and encouraged with genuine empathy and faith in improving life experiences. The modalities I use most are positive psychology , cognitive behavioral, client centered, gestalt, Parent Child Interactive, and trauma informed. I am grateful for every client I am privileged to meet.

Sometimes, things fall apart seemingly all at once. A relationship ends, a job is lost. You are diagnosed with a health problem or sustain a debilitating injury. Other times, things gradually build to feel like you are being slowly buried alive. You have trouble falling asleep because you dread waking up the next day. Racheal Wilson (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who is supervised by Michael Pollak, PCC-S. She provides individual counseling to adolescents (16+) and adults. Her areas of focus include bipolar disorder, dual-diagnosis, substance-use disorders, schizophrenia spectrum and other psychotic disorders, complex trauma, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Angie Swonger is trained in mental health, individual, group, and relationship counseling. As an ordained minister through Church of God (Anderson, IN) she practices from a strength and faith-based perspective.
