I am an experienced, compassionate, licensed marriage and family therapist in the community who has effectively supported and treated many individuals, couples, and families through major and minor life transitions over the years. Grief , trauma, loss, anxiety, depression, betrayal, divorce, parenting, work and life- stressors have a way of affecting us all, individually and relationally. These issues are often resolved by talking them through with a skilled and trusted, caring, professional other. Whatever issues are standing in your way, I am here to help you as together we work toward a solution that is right for you.

I specialize in working with young adults (18-40) who are trying to "figure it all out." Between trying to build and maintain strong relationships, find a sense of purpose, deal with depression, anxiety, and shame, and recover from residual effects of childhood trauma, we have our work cut out for us. Every journey is unique, and you are the expert on you. My job is to hold space for you while you heal and grow into your happiest and healthiest self.

I aim to make therapy open and inviting. My goal is to allow all of my clients feel seen and heard and to work together with them to achieve their treatment goals. I most often work with women who are struggling with life stressors, trauma, anxiety, depression, and grief, among other issues. I also have a special passion for working with mothers on perinatal/parenting concerns and preventing parental burnout.

I enjoy working with young adults and older adults, but I'm not limited to these populations. My ideal client is at a place of feeling "stuck" in their life. Whether that be a career transition, deciding on a college major, feeling lost in a relationship, or a new onset of symptoms. I am also comfortable with helping individuals unpack their past to understand their current habits. My ideal client wants to understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to develop self-awareness and self-compassion along the way.

Are you anxious or just really excited? Once upon a time, when we were faced with a predator or a life or death situation, anxiety served us well. Your natural reaction to fight or flee kept you out of danger. But in this modern world, even when you aren't in any real "danger," you'll have that same reaction. If you are about to approach your boss to ask for a raise, your body produces adrenaline which puts you on edge - it affects our behavior, it affects your ask. We don't do certain things that are scary because we just don't like feeling anxiety. But, no ask - no raise.

I specialize in Anxiety, Depression, and relationship issues, but I also treat a multitude of issues. My ideal client is anyone on their journey, no matter how big or small. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) with over 30 years of experience in the mental health and recovery fields. I have been in private practice for the last 20 years. I am clinically well rounded, nonjudgmental, and fairly soul-seasoned as a human being, myself. I find the majority of my clients to be very psychologically and spiritually heroic/ inspiring. Many of them teach me important things about my own inner life journey. I am also a multiple trauma survivor and have been clean and sober for the last 38 years. I also specialize with codependents/ACOAs.

Olivia is licensed in both New York and New Jersey. She specializes in perinatal mental health, first time parenting, and working with people in the LGBTQIA+ communities. She works with each client specifically to cultivate a holding space that speaks to each individual’s needs and works with a mindful based approach in order to guide her clients toward self awareness.

I have a particular interest in working with veterans, diverse peoples of trauma, geriatrics, and integrated health care. The ideal client is full of surprises and motivated to explore the limits of their potential. S/he will cross-examine, wholeheartedly endorse, and bring into the open what has yet to be uncovered. S/he will personalize what they notice/receive and share candid feedback on how to keep existing or try out new habits. S/he will utilize the available time to make use of what's keeping them stuck.

Overcoming the stigma associated with seeking counseling can be incredibly challenging for many. Recognizing when to seek help is a big accomplishment. It is important to be aware that we do not need to face life’s challenges alone. It is my duty to walk by your side while navigating whatever situation you may be struggling with. I have experience working with adults in an outpatient setting, assisting them in addressing a wide range of challenges with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, mood disorders, grief, and life transitions.

Footprints was started by a therapist who realized that often times the services provided to low socio-economic communities is lacking quality care. We noticed these communities were confronted with long wait times, disrespectful admins, and subpar treatment. The one and only purpose was to exploit the community for profit without providing the level of care deserved. Footprints began from the inspiration to provide quality mental health care to the poorest of communities and treating the clients of this community the same way a rich patient would be treated in a clinic treating affluent clients.
