I work with adults ages 18 and up. I like to work with clients who are seeking help for anxiety, depression, addiction and recovery, life changes, parenting, codependency, and relationships. I also like to work with clients who are seeking guidance on creating and maintaining personal goals. I will help clients move forward by offering trauma-informed care utilizing a mix of CBT, DBT, and solutions-focused therapy. I like to explore the client's family and cultural systems. I can provide diagnoses where appropriate and provide referrals for additional services if needed.
I have experience working with clients from various socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. I have extensive experience working with men who have experienced addiction, unstable housing, and incarceration. I also have experience working with men and women who are seeking mental health treatment without a co-occurring addiction issue.
I believe every person has value and a purpose. Through gentle guidance and an openness to the therapeutic process, I believe each person has the ability to discover and create a meaningful life through whole-person wellness.
