I am a doctoral level trained clinical psychologist with a PsyD in counseling and am an LPC. I have extensive experience working with diverse adolescent and adult populations. I have training and expertise in EMDR, CBT, and DBT. I have worked in community mental health, inpatient, adolescent forensic, and private practice settings and have extensive training in diagnostic and clinical assessments. My education, training, and clinical practices have highlighted multicultural and diversity issues, and I continue to practice in consideration of cultural issues/needs when evaluating, assessing, and providing services to clients.
I meet people where they are and create a trusting relationship to allow people to heal from trauma and end emotional suffering. I treat each client as an individual, but work within a consistent framework. I use an integrative approach to treatment planning, including cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and environmental/family systems interventions.
