Welcome. I’m glad you are here and taking an important step toward finding the right therapist. Perhaps you have been facing significant challenges for a while, are unsure how to cope with certain life stressors, or just want to know yourself better. Either way, you do not have to walk this path alone. Our work will focus on your experience and creating ways to navigate the world more effectively. I do this by creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment through listening without judgment and working collaboratively. My therapeutic style is integrative and warm.
A bit of background: I am a licensed clinical psychologist with 15 years of experience. My therapeutic orientation is psychodynamic and trauma informed, and I use elements of AEDP, CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, and Art Therapy as needed. My approach is multicultural and anti-oppressive to keep in mind the impact of culture and systemic oppression on mental health.
Lastly, I specialize in group psychotherapy and have extensive experience running psychodynamic groups for emerging adults, midlife-adults, LGBTQ+, women, and patients with significant trauma histories. In the past decade, I have also been running DBT, CBT, ACT, and art Therapy groups.

Interpersonal Psychodynamic Relationship Group
In this warm, supportive, and engaging group, members come to explore their patterns of interpersonal strengths and challenges. Those who seek this form of treatment wish to relate better to others and to feel better about themselves. They might also join a group to explore the magic of creating and maintaining close, and meaningful relationships, learn to communicate clearly and with greater ease, and practice communicating thoughts, feelings, and needs directly. Open to NY, NJ, and CT residents. The group meets online for most sessions and meets in person once a month, typically on the last Tuesday of the month.
