Couples with marital and communication challenges, those struggling with anxiety and depression, kids/families dealing with school or family behavioral challenges or those with ADHD/ADD, clients who have suffered traumatic experiences, PTSD, physical/sexual assault, grief and more.
Thanks for visiting my practice. I offer first video session free to new clients. Why video? Because in my experience, video counseling provides the same benefits as face-to-face counseling. In fact, clients have shared that they experience no difference between talking with me by video vs. talking with me face-to-face. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with two offices in Seattle, WA and The Woodlands, TX. At the heart of my practice is a love of helping kids, individuals and families overcome challenges in their lives. It's my belief that anything can be worked through if you truly desire a change in your situation.

Our clients are high achieving millennials, identity-developing gen-zers, people in transition, and people who think deeply about themselves and their growth. Our clients are asking: Why do my emotions feel so out of hand? How do I understand my relational patterns? How is my experience of trauma showing up in my every day life? Do I have ADHD? Do I have bipolar? Am I on the right medication? Should I take a break from work? How do I manage difficult relationships?

Areas I offer testing for include: ADHD, Autism Spectrum, Learning Disorders, Dyslexia, Intellectual Disability, Behavior Disorders, Personality Disorders, Mood and Anxiety Disorders, IEP or 504 plan, school placement, giftedness, and testing for qualifying for state services.
My philosophy is that "knowledge is power" and I believe that every predicament can be an opportunity to learn and grow, but most importantly, the first step is to identify the problem accurately. As a Clinical Psychologist, I am passionate about helping my clients gain insight about their mental and emotional strengths and weaknesses through an objective and comprehensive evaluation by using standardized testing tools. Once all the information is gathered, I will offer extensive feedback regarding the results and make recommendations to help you or your child get the treatments or services needed. I work with ages 4 - 59.

I have several years experience working with individuals with autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorders, anxiety, and more.
I enjoy working with clients of all ages and backgrounds, though the majority of my experience is with children and adolescents. I am passionate about working collaboratively with children/teens (ages 4+) and their parents to help each move towards growth and understanding of one another. I feel that in order to do this, it important to utilize strategies that are effective, compassionate, and respectful of the client's needs. Additionally, there needs to be a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust and compassion. I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques depending on the needs of my client and their current situation.

I especially enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ clients, those looking to find peace in their relationship with their body, and folks with ADHD.
MY PRACTICE IS CURRENTLY FULL (as of 3/29/2021). My therapeutic approach centers around our relationship. Research shows (and I firmly believe) that the relationship between therapist and client lays the groundwork for change. Within this relationship, I use a person-centered and collaborative approach to get to know you individually, help you identify your values, and build on your existing strengths to address your goals. In our work together, if I see fit, I incorporate techniques from mindfulness, cognitive and somatic therapies. I also utilize art and other experiential approaches to explore challenges in new ways.

I'm also an ADHD, Executive Skills and Money Coach.
UPDATE: I’m here to help with Covid-19-related grief, stress, fears, uncertainty, reduced self care, work ineffectiveness, isolation, home-schooling & cooped-up family challenges. While in normal times my practice focus is helping adults & older teens with ADHD lead more effective and satisfying lives, I’m also experienced in treating mood disorders including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, PTSD and depression, and sleep issues. I understand that all these issues, including ADHD, are worsened and even harder to manage when life is suddenly so completely uncertain, scary and stressful. You don’t have to manage this by yourself!

ADHD Therapists
Some children and adults with ADHD find it difficult to concentrate on tasks at school or work and may daydream frequently. Children with ADHD may become disruptive, defiant, or have trouble getting along with parents, peers, or teachers. Children who struggle with hyperactivity and impulsivity, in particular, often have behavioral challenges that can be difficult for adults to manage. Adults, on the other hand, may be more likely to report feeling restless or fidgety; if they struggle with impulsivity, they may make rash decisions that adversely affect their life. For both children and adults, executive functioning (planning, emotional regulation, and decision-making) is often affected as well. Many children and adults display either hyperactive or inattentive symptoms of ADHD, but it’s also possible for both sets of symptoms to exist together, in what is typically called combined type ADHD.

If you're looking for a King County ADHD therapist, these professionals provide ADHD therapy and counseling in King County.
