I specialize in PTSD, Anxiety, Depression and Attachment concerns. The criteria for many of these diagnoses, include impulsiveness, relationship challenges, and certain aspects of ADHD. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, has many effects on our minds and bodies. You may have questions or concerns, finding your pathway to peace and contentment. I believe that comes from an understanding of what has happened to you during certain points in your life and how your mind and body has survived. The great philosopher Socrates said "Know Thyself", and good therapy helps you to do just that.
I have studied therapeutic approaches that pertain to PTSD and use them as applicable to your needs. My "psychoeducational" approach will assist you to an understanding of the "Why?" behind your thoughts and behaviors and increased knowledge of your self. Understanding brings with it a freedom to make decisions and choices that are truly yours.
